AI Governance Lead

Job Summary

Keyrus is seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to help organizations turn Responsible AI principles and regulatory requirements into practical governance systems. The role involves designing and implementing AI governance frameworks, defining responsibilities, decision‑making processes, and risk assessment methods for AI applications. You will work closely with clients, engineering, legal, risk, compliance, and security teams to embed governance across the AI lifecycle. Key responsibilities include establishing risk classification processes, translating regulations into actionable controls, setting governance checkpoints for testing, deployment, and monitoring, and creating human‑oversight mechanisms. You will also develop reusable documentation, assessment methods, and best‑practice guides while advising on AI governance maturity. The ideal candidate has a strong background in AI governance, model risk, or technology risk frameworks, with experience translating policies into practical workflows. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of modern AI technologies and their associated risks.
