The Associate Field Service Engineer will support the maintenance, installation, and repair of SCIEX capillary electrophoresis instruments at customer sites across the Düsseldorf and Cologne area. Working under close supervision, the role requires independent problem‑solving and a strong foundation in scientific instrumentation. The engineer will conduct preventative maintenance, triage repairs, and provide on‑site training to clients, ensuring optimal performance of analytical equipment. Candidates should hold a completed technical vocational training or a degree in electrical engineering, medical technology, chemistry, or physics, with experience in laboratory or healthcare settings. Fluency in German and English, a valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel for extended periods are essential. Prior exposure to field service activities, mass spectrometry, chromatography, or similar technologies is a plus.
