Associate Manager Software Engineering

Job Summary

DXC Technology is hiring an Associate Manager Software Engineering to develop and maintain Java‑based applications focused on PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention. The role involves modernizing applications by migrating from Java 8 to 11/17, integrating Okta and SAML2 for single sign‑on, and removing vulnerabilities identified through Veracode scans. The position requires strong backend development skills in Java (SOAP/REST), proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python, and hands‑on experience with Linux, Bash scripting, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). Candidates should also be familiar with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git), and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Spock, Groovy). Excellent communication and Agile/Scrum knowledge are essential. As a consultant/advisor, the successful candidate will collaborate with other developers, provide guidance on best practices, and help ensure code quality and security across the team.
