English Copy‑Editor for ESL Mathematics Textbooks

Job Summary

TransPerfect is seeking an experienced copy‑editor or linguist to adapt school mathematics textbooks for English as a Second Language (ESL) students in Vietnam, covering grades 2 through 8. The role involves substantive editing for cultural sensitivity, consistency, and clarity, as well as preparing final manuscripts with tracked changes and clean copies for typesetting. The editor will also work with artwork logs, query logs, and bilingual spreadsheets to ensure the English text aligns with global learning outcomes and is accessible to young learners. Candidates must be native or possess native proficiency in English, hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and have at least three years of teaching experience with young learners and three years of copy‑editing experience. Knowledge of Vietnamese and the corporate business environment is an advantage. This is a freelance contract position, requiring 6–8 hours of weekly availability during the project period (October 26–November 9, 2026, and January 19–26, 2026). Remote work is available across EMEA.
