Junior Engine Control System & Monitoring Engineer

Job Summary

A recent graduate will work closely with senior control engineers to design, test and validate engine control algorithms for a high‑thrust cryogenic rocket engine. Responsibilities include developing control and monitoring logic, integrating functional models into a simulation environment, running Model‑, Software‑ and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop tests, and supporting on‑site engine test campaigns. The role also involves health monitoring, fault detection, and contributing to the overall engine regulation strategy. Candidates will gain hands‑on experience with real engine hardware, learn to implement safety‑critical control functions, and progressively take ownership of key components of the control system. The position offers exposure to advanced aerospace technologies, model‑based design, and end‑to‑end test validation. Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Control or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, with strong fundamentals in control theory and experience in embedded or real‑time systems.
