Patent Agent / Attorney – Chemistry

Vanguard-IP is seeking a qualified Patent Agent or Attorney with a strong background in chemistry, especially small‑molecule chemistry. The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in chemistry (advanced degree preferred) and hands‑on experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications. The role requires the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Applicants must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction where they are applying and in good standing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Excellent written and oral communication, sound judgment, and the capacity to prioritize work under pressure are essential for success in this position.
