Product Owner – Pricing & Billing Engine (Backend)

Job Summary

DKB AG is looking for a Product Owner to lead the development of its Pricing & Billing Engine. The role involves setting the product vision, creating and prioritizing a backlog, and translating complex pricing and billing rules into clear, actionable requirements for a backend team. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with data platform, backend developers, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, traceable transactions and accurate customer payouts. Key responsibilities include defining product roadmaps, managing the backlog with a focus on value, data quality, and risk, coordinating data requirements with the Cloud Data Platform team, and monitoring transaction quality to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has experience in product ownership for backend or data‑intensive systems, strong analytical skills, and fluency in German (B2+) and English. The position supports an agile, cross‑functional environment and requires strong communication skills to align technical and business perspectives. Experience with billing, payment, or transaction processes is a plus.
