Regional Continuous Improvement Manager - Southern East Coverage

Job Summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement Manager to lead operational excellence across its Southern East coverage area. The role involves coaching plant and administrative teams on lean and Six Sigma methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, TPM, SMED, and Theory of Constraints. The manager will plan and facilitate improvement events, drive cross‑functional projects, and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. The position is remote with extensive travel to sites in North America, but candidates should reside near major airports in the Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA regions. Responsibilities include diagnosing workflow impediments, guiding leaders on performance metrics, mentoring staff, and ensuring measurable savings and process enhancements are achieved. Successful applicants will bring strong facilitation skills, a deep understanding of lean tools, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels to sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
