Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native, Expo, TypeScript)

Job Summary

This role invites an experienced freelance mobile engineer to shape the easybill‑mobile app for iOS and Android. Working closely with the product and design teams, you will extend the existing React Native + Expo codebase, implement new features, and refine the app’s architecture for performance, security, and user experience. You will translate functional requirements around invoices and documents into intuitive mobile flows, develop reusable components, and ensure robust data handling through the REST‑API. Your responsibilities include maintaining authentication, session management, and handling sensitive customer data with care. Beyond coding, you’ll contribute to the entire release cycle: building, testing, and monitoring the app on the App Stores, writing automated tests with Jest, and applying best practices in accessibility and localization. You’ll also help evolve the backend API when needed, leveraging PHP and Symfony. The ideal candidate is a senior‑level developer with deep expertise in TypeScript, React Native, and Expo, comfortable with both iOS and Android platform nuances, and ready to take ownership of the product’s technical direction.
