Senior Program Test Lead

Job Summary

The Senior Program Test Lead will orchestrate all testing activities for a large-scale program in Belgium. Working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, the role translates quality strategy and framework into a coherent, risk‑driven test plan. The lead coordinates testing across multiple workstreams, internal teams, and external suppliers, ensuring seamless execution of System, Integration, End‑to‑End, User Acceptance, regression, and non‑functional tests. Key responsibilities include planning and consolidating test schedules, managing resource and environment dependencies, and maintaining traceability between requirements, risks, test scenarios, and defect outcomes. The position also drives risk‑based testing, identifies coverage gaps, and recommends compensatory actions. Additionally, the Senior Lead oversees defect triage, prioritization, and resolution, escalates critical risks, and reports on quality metrics to governance bodies. Strong coordination with suppliers, rigorous evaluation of test results, and clear communication of findings are essential to support program release readiness. The role demands a strategic mindset, deep understanding of quality frameworks, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
