Senior Sales Manager (m/w/d) – Pharma

Job Summary

Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive growth in the pharmaceutical sector across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The role focuses on maintaining and expanding existing client relationships while actively identifying new business opportunities within the pharma, dermatology and cosmetic formulation markets. Key responsibilities include presenting products and technologies, coordinating customer projects in close collaboration with internal teams, and providing technical support for production and application queries. The position also involves market development activities, competitor analysis, and participation in trade shows and client events. Candidates should hold a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific field, possess extensive sales experience in the pharma segment, and have strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations. High proficiency in MS Office, SAP and CRM systems, excellent communication skills in German and English, and a willingness to travel (30‑50%) are essential.
