Solutions Architect – Digital Natives & Startups

Job Summary

Databricks is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to engage with Digital Natives and startup customers across Berlin and Munich. The role involves building strong client relationships, delivering technical sales presentations, and guiding the design and implementation of data‑intelligence solutions on the Databricks platform. You will work closely with Account Executives to provide hands‑on demos, create reference architectures, and author how‑to guides, helping customers see tangible value in Data + AI. The position requires a deep understanding of big‑data technologies, cloud ecosystems, and programming in languages such as Python, SQL, or Java, along with a willingness to learn Spark. This is a full‑time, customer‑facing role that blends pre‑sales expertise with solution consulting. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in a technical pre‑sales or consulting capacity, fluency in German and English, and a proven track record of delivering complex solution designs to diverse audiences. The role is based in either Berlin or Munich, with a hybrid working model allowed for those within commuting distance.
