Solutions Engineer UAS / Aviation

Job Summary

Auterion, a leading AI‑powered autonomous systems provider, is recruiting a Solutions Engineer specialized in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The role involves hands‑on integration, validation, and operational readiness of drone platforms powered by Auterion’s software. The engineer will work closely with hardware, firmware, and operations teams to transition airframes into fully flight‑ready robots. Key responsibilities include firmware flashing, sensor calibration, ESC tuning, and end‑of‑line (EoL) testing. The engineer will conduct payload and camera load‑seat testing, troubleshoot embedded system issues, and develop validation workflows for complete UAV systems. Flight testing and real‑world performance validation are also part of the role. Candidates should hold a B.Sc. in Aviation Technology, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering or a related field and have practical experience with autopilot systems such as PX4. Strong skills in C/C++, MAVLink, Linux debugging, and UAV sensor calibration are essential. EU citizenship is required.
