Structured Data Foundation Model Engineer

Job Summary

NVIDIA is looking for a senior engineer to join its Structured Data Foundation Model team, focusing on building AI systems that understand and work with relational databases, heterogeneous graphs, tabular data, and time series. The role involves designing and experimenting with advanced architectures such as Transformers and Graph Neural Networks to create unified foundation models that generalize across diverse data schemas. The engineer will collaborate with researchers and other engineers to enhance these models, develop benchmarks to evaluate performance across multiple structured data domains, and drive continuous improvement based on real‑world application results. Responsibilities also include end‑to‑end responsibilities—from architecture design and training to post‑training optimization and inference acceleration—ensuring scalable and adaptable AI solutions. Candidates should hold an MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field, have at least five years of research experience, and be proficient in Python and PyTorch. Experience with time‑series forecasting, tabular or relational foundation models, and graph‑based machine learning will set applicants apart.
