Calcutta University announced that the deadline for submitting examination forms has been moved from the original date to a later one, giving Surendranath Law College students an extra week to complete the paperwork.
The change was made after consultations with the college administration, who cited administrative delays and a need for more time for students.
During his visit, the vice‑president met with faculty and students to discuss ongoing concerns and to reinforce the university’s commitment to student welfare.
In addition, the university will conduct hybrid‑mode classes for eight days to address attendance issues, aiming to streamline the process for students and staff alike.
