The Kolkata airport has launched a 24‑day amenity improvement drive that will focus on both cleanliness and passenger comfort. Starting today, airport staff will intensify cleaning schedules across terminals, concourses and baggage areas.

In addition to heightened hygiene measures, the program will upgrade seating arrangements, install clearer signage, and refresh common facilities to make the travel experience smoother for passengers.

The drive is part of the airport’s broader strategy to meet international standards and improve overall customer satisfaction. The initiative is slated to conclude by the end of the month, after which the airport will resume normal operations.
