The political coalition headed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has officially declared its contestants for the upcoming legislative by-elections in two Assembly constituencies of West Bengal, specifically Nandigram and Rejinagar.
Nandigram remains a prominent and strategically significant electoral pocket within the state's political landscape, making candidate selection a critical move for the ruling bloc. Meanwhile, the candidate announcement for Rejinagar aligns with the alliance's objective to secure legislative representation across key regional pockets.
With the nominees formally named, the alliance is slated to launch its ground campaign across both constituencies. Administrative declarations concerning official nomination filings and voting schedules will follow in accordance with electoral guidelines.
